With there being so many people beauty blogging now I don't think anyone talks about hair removal enough and the different methods. And with summer coming up we will all be whipping out our preferred hair removing choice!
For me being the awkward teenager that I am when it came to me exploring the many methods of hair removal I didn't go to my mum for advice and she didn't talk to me about it either. I was pretty damn sure I could figure it all out myself. So where did I turn? The internet of course. I used hair removal creams at first and still do, they won't be a suitable method for everyone but it works for me, someone who has fair hair and hardly ever wears anything but jeans. Hair removal is a boring task but one that has to be done! Hair removal creams might be your cup of tea though so that's why I'm here to talk about the different methods! I'm not going to talk about all the methods available just a few :)
Shaving
Shaving is probably the most common method of hair removal with both men and women using it. I don't turn to this method too often to be honest, weird I know. I must be one of the many people who an mainly get by just by using hair removal creams! There is of course a downside to shaving and that is cuts. If you haven't cut yourself when shaving before then you are one lucky person!
Epilators
This method just screams pain to me! This involves using a epilator that removes the whole hair from where ever it is. It grabs it and rips it from your body. I have never tried this method and don't plan to! This method is longer lasting than shaving though as the whole hair is being removed.
Waxing
This is another method that I haven't tried but I feel like I might want despite it supposedly being painful, it would be a quick short pain though which I can deal with. This is a semi-permanent method and hair can grow back after 2-6 weeks but some people do see regrowth within a week or so says the internet! Waxing can become pricey if you are getting it done at a salon but now a days there are lots of cheap home kits available.
Laser Hair Removal
Finally laser hair removal. Not a cheap option at all and this method involves having multiple treatments but its virtually painless and it is the most long lasting method, it can last months rather than days or weeks. This seems like the most effective, painless and long lasting method but you'd definitely have to weigh up the cost. Sk:n Clinic have currently got 30% off Bikini and Underarm last hair removal course if you are looking to try it.
Would you ever consider having laser hair removal done?
